Baseball is on!
The season will look different and we want everyone to be informed prior to things getting started. There will be lots of information in this email, so please take the time to read it.
Registration has re-opened. If you haven't yet registered your child, please do so by Thursday, June 4. E-transfer is the method of payment, sent to portageminorbaseball@outlook.com. Registration is limited to 11U, 13U, 15U and 18U.
There will be a mandatory waiver for parents to sign, we are not sure of the date that this will be available but we will notify parents when it is.
June 8th will be the start date for practices.
11U will practice Tuesdays and Thursdays.
13U will practice Mondays and Wednesdays.
15U and 18U TBA.
Games are tentatively scheduled to start July 1. This is subject to change.
Provincials have been cancelled for this year.
There will be a AAA season for those who signed up for tryouts.

Every player must have their own helmet, glove and bat.
No sharing of equipment.
No sunflower seeds, and no spitting.
No sharing water bottles.
The offensive team will never touch the ball, so on deck batters are not to run after a foul ball this year.
Social distancing will be encouraged in the dug out and with parents in the viewing areas.
Players are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer but there will be hand sanitizer available.
Basically, common sense will have to be used at all times.
